Queen and Latifa

 A few weeks back, someone linked this youtube video to my facebook profile (please note that there are non-family friendly words in this video):

As you do when someone sends you a link that they think you'll find funny, you click on it. I did, and I did indeed find said video amusing.

However, within seconds of the sound of another cat going on in her 'territory' (Chez Q&L), 'Tifa had bounded into the bedroom (where the PC is) and was hissing and screaming and bouncing off the walls.

Whoops! I clearly need to be more careful of the kitty related things I access in the diva kitty's flat!

Oh hai!

As someone who uses the internet and likes cats, you're probably aware of the concept of 'lolcats' that are displayed on websites like I Can Has Cheezburger. I really love lolcats: they make me, well, lol.

I want 'Tifa to be a lolcat, but this is proving more difficult that you might think. It's not like I don't take lots of photos of her, because I do. It's not like she doesn't do stuff that's particularly cute or daft that'd be appropriate lolcat material, because she does. It's just that I never seem to be able to combine cute kitty with queen with camera.

I'm always impressed by the pics on lolcats, as the people who took them are either incredibly lucky to snap them at the right moment, incredibly clever to be able to set them up, or (worryingly) even more obsessed about their kitty than I am inasmuch as they constantly follow them around with a camera.  I am determined to make the diva kitty a lolcat, it just seems that I need to wait for some luck as I'm not going to chase her with a camera or attempt to disturb her into doing something funny (that's more than my life is worth!).

However, watch this space as I have a cunning plan, and it might just work!
